A Mollusk Digimon with a shell made of coral. Sangomon live in the shallows of the Net Ocean, and are found near beaches all over the Digital World, except in its coldest regions. They are very friendly and mingle freely with other Digimon species, having been observed resting on the backs of Shellmon and having their coral trimmed by Ganimon. The coral protects their head, but their under-body is more vulnerable.
Attacks: Sangomon are not very aggressive, and tend to run from fights rather than finish them. To that end, they can produce a poison from their coral shell, which is sprayed in a misty cloud around them and if underwater can spread a considerable distance. This poison is lachrymatory; the eyes of those affected will swell and pour tears, impairing their vision. It can also irritate other sensitive tissues, such as inside the nose or mouth. When cornered, Sangomon can expel water from the ends of their arms at high pressure, to attack the enemy or to make a quicker getaway.
Refuge Mist - Expels poison form its coral that induces heavy tears.
Coral Pressure - Fires high pressure jets of water from the ends of its arms.
