Pteranomon can fly to the highest altitudes of any Adult Level Digimon, and their bodies are covered in Blue Digizoid, the lightest form of the metal. Pteranomon pride themselves on their aerial abilities, and often seek opportunities to employ said skills. A number of them are known to work with the D-Brigade, but just about any mercenary group would accept a Pteranomon into their number.
Attacks: Pteranomon are quite speedy in the air thanks to the inherent qualities of their Blue Digizoid armor, which is light without sacrificing its hardness. Their primary weapons are the missiles and bombs attached to their wings, but they tend to rely on a divebombing attack with their beaks for a finishing move.
Beak Pierce - Nosedives, piercing the enemy with its beak as it comes down. Said beak can pierce most kinds of armor, including varieties of Chrome Digizoid.
Sidewinder - Strafes the opponent with missiles launched from its wings.
Hell's Bomb - Does a bombing run, dropping explosives from its wings from high above.
A Pteranomon which has acquired the X-Antibody has undergone further mutations, increasing its resemblance to a fighter plane. X-Evolved Pteranomon have further developed as air-to-air combat fighters as well as becoming better at flying at high and low altitudes. Newly developed rocket boosters in its feet grant it greater stability at low altitudes, while the ability to retract its legs completely into its body has decreased the amount of drag when flying at high speeds.
Attacks:
Nail Comb - Swoops low to the ground, slashing and raking at the opponent with the claws on its feet while firing its stabilizer rockets at the same time.
All of Pteranomon's other attacks have been retained by this Digimon.
